ABC Teacher Power Description

Conditions, Attitude, and Behaviors: Three Essentials for Improving School Climate and Establishing a Culture of High Expectations contains three modules.  The engaging, challenging, and informative activities will help educators foster academic achievement in students

Module One will help learners identify environmental conditions that foster student achievement and develop a deployment plan for improving these conditions. Module Two will help learners generate a cadre of strategies to improve student attitudes toward learning. Module Three will guide learners in determining adult behaviors that encourage student learning and engagement and how these behaviors can be incorporated into the learning environment.

Assignments will help learners develop a deeper understanding of the materials in the modules. Assignments will generally require learners to read some portion of one of the required books and complete a quiz or a project that can be used in their teaching situation.
